Mining reagents
SNF products are widely used for the flotation of copper, lead, zinc, gold, nickel, platinum group elements and others. Although our base products consist of the traditional known chemistries, we also have active programs in place for developing site specific blends and new products across the froth flotation spectrum.
Oil Industry
SNF Canada is specialized in Enhanced Oil Recovery production as well as in production and treatment of tar sands fields. SNF's products have a wide range of applications in the oil industry: production, treatment of drilling mud, prevention of water intrusion, drag reduction and enhanced oil recovery. As the leader in this last application - tertiary recovery - SNF manufactures polymers that adapt viscosity of the recovery water to that of the oil.
Paper Industry
SNF produces a complete range of hydro soluble polymers specifically designed to handle all the problems occuring in the wet end stages of the paper-making process.
Agriculture
SNF is developing a range of superabsorbents for agricultural use and offers simple and economical solutions to help in improving water and soil resources management.
Textile Additives
Laboratory tests simulating the production environment enable SNF to supply products designed to meet the textile industry requirements. Its Floprint range includes high-performance products for textile finishing processes.

The polymers specifically designed by SNF for the cosmetic industry benefits from constant research into the production of high-purity monomers and advanced polymerisation techniques. They can have conditioning, film-forming, thickening performance. |
